The right to bear arms isn't a matter of convenience or personal taste. It is a key protection of liberty against tyranny.Government, according to the Founding Fathers, could never be trusted with power. Once a power or a right of the people was handed over to government control, government would never turn that power back to the people. As a protection against the tyranny of government, the Founding Fathers included the Second Amendment to the Constitution.
