The Speed Bump cartoon by Dave Coverly teaches one, simple reason what's wrong with today's school system. Entitlement indoctrination and feel-good self-esteem teaching panders only to the teachers unions and spineless school administrators. The question remains, do we have the fortitude to change the educational system to teach children how to read, write, and do math? Or do we allow special interests and huge unions to dictate the demise of education?
