Years ago, I used to be invested in the party system that dominates politics in the US. Yet, in the process of growing up, I discovered one truth about government: that any entrenched party or system can and does become corrupt. So, after a bit of reflection, I left the party system to become an independent voter, along with millions of others who have become disaffected with the party system.
Now, I am free to choose and support whomever I feel has the best shot at fighting the corruption in Washington, D.C. Running in Arizona's Republican primaries are two such individuals: Jeff Flake and Kirk Adams.
Jeff Flake has served in the US House of Representatives where he's built a reputation fighting against earmarks. His solid voting record and his solid life built around his family is enough for me to endorse him as the best qualified candidate running as Arizona's next US Senator. Kirk Adams recently served as Arizona's Speaker of the House, the youngest Speaker in the nation at the time. He helped cut Arizona's spending by 30%, balanced the budget during the economic recession, and passed legislation that gives Arizonans the ability to fight ObamaCare. Kirk is a small business owner who has roots in the economy, rather than roots in the lobbying culture of Washington, DC. He is a proven leader who made tough decisions, stood up to union bosses, and voluntarily withdrew himself from his state pension. He pledged to do the same in Washington if elected by your vote.
Kirk is not only an effective leader, but an incredible husband and father. I'm proud to endorse him.
We need courageous, new leadership, now more than ever, to help the US get back on track. Please go to www.kirkadams2012.com to learn more.
