Barack Obama Saving Jobs? Not This Time

President Obama assured the people of the United States that once Congress passed the spending bill ("stimulus"), the spending would save more than a million jobs. As recent unemployment data shows, that was not the case. In fact, unemployment rose even more than Obama's people predicted it would without the spending bill.

The first rule of government should be: "Do no harm."
