I've been out of the loop for awhile flunking all of my students for not believing in the principles of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Seventeen of my students failed because they couldn't correctly identify the constitutional amendment that protects the free exercise of religion. In fact, they had no idea there was such a thing. Fourteen more failed for flatly denying the value of the individual's right to keep and bear arms, upheld just last year by the US Supreme Court. I failed seven students for being devout followers of the gospel of atheism and kept trying to preach their secular humanism in class. One other failed for not taking the final exam.
On another note, here's the latest Andrew Klavan on the culture:
By the way, I was just kidding about failing the student for not taking the final exam. I actually gave that student an A since students shouldn't feel bad for not understanding the class material or showing up to do the required work.
