From FOXNews.com:
When the Fayetteville, Ark., Gay Pride Parade steps off on East Street Saturday on its way to the Wal-Mart parking lot, it will be led by a young man who has made a career out of fighting for gay rights.I understand Will Phillips wants to be at the forefront of gay activism. I am disturbed by the lengths that gay activists will go in order to promote their ideological agenda, including exploiting a ten-year-old child to represent the ideals of sexual preference and subsequent gay lifestyle. Keep in mind that gay ideology requires self-identification based on sexual preference.
Make that a young boy. Will Phillips, the grand marshal, is 10 years old, and his presence has thrust Fayetteville's Gay Pride Parade into the national spotlight....
Even within the gay alliance in Arkansas, Will's role has sparked tension. In reaction to the AFA’s charges that children who attend the parade would be in danger, organizer Joney Harper said: "We are not San Francisco ... New York ... we’re pretty much a family affair, so it is pretty safe to be there."
Which begs the rest of the US to ask the question, are Gay Pride parades "pretty much a family affair"? Is this a brave young man standing up for what's right or is he merely a pawn in a larger game of reducing the ideals of family and morality to the basest levels of meaninglessness?
