Info Post
From SF Gate:
If the commission approves the ordinance at its meeting tonight, San Francisco could soon have what is believed to be the country's first ban on the sale of all pets except fish.
Another proud moment for PETA, the SPCA and nanny-state lovers everywhere. According to San Francisco's Commission of Animal Control and Welfare, people are no longer capable of making decisions about pets. Because a few people abandon unwanted pets, the Commission is considering keeping everyone from buying pets in San Francisco.

This is a core value of modern liberalism's ideology: punish everyone because a few abuse the system. Pets aren't taken care of? Ban their sale entirely (and maim an entire pet industry in the city). Criminals abuse guns? Ban them all (and ignore that pesky Constitutional amendment). Fast food makes people fat? Get rid of fast food.

This law gives even modern liberalism a bad name. Maybe we can pass a law to ban San Francisco?
